Ugwuanyi, at PDP monthly meeting, calls on members to unite


Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State yesterday, attended the regular monthly meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Udenu Local Government Area, calling on members of the party to unite and work towards the progress of the party.

Addressing the enthusiastic PDP members during the meeting, which witnessed the decamping of a large number of the All Progressives Congress, APC, members in the council area, led by Hon. Paul C. Okafor, to the PDP, Gov. Ugwuanyi appealed that doors should be opened for all those who intend to join the party to do so,  adding the party is big enough to accommodate everybody.

While urging the people to continue to remember him and his administration in prayers,  Gov. Ugwuanyi noted that it is only when the PDP is united, that the dreams and aspirations of its founding fathers would be fully actualized.

Earlier in his remark , the Udenu Local Government Chairman of the PDP,  Hon. Emma Chima expressed delight at the active participation of the party members especially the governor who he said has been attending the meetings of the party.
