Forbes’ annual ranking of the top-earning actors of 2017, sees Mark Wahlberg surpass Dwayne Johnson to become the highest paid actor.

According to Forbes Magazine, "Transformers" star, Mark Wahlberg, is the world's highest-paid actor with a whopping $68 million.

In total, the world's 10 highest paid actors raked in $720 million between June 1, 2016, and June 1, 2017, before fees and taxes.

That's almost three times more than their female counterparts, who earned a total of $172.5 million.

Mark Wahlberg's $68m is three times more than the highest paid actress, Emma Stone, who took home $26 million.

Others on the list include Dwayne Johnson, who went from the 2016 number one to the second spot with $65 million. In 2016, Johnson made $64.5 million.
